The Greater Wigston Historical Society was formed in 1980 by Duncan Lucas and a group of keen local historians.

The Society meets each month with the exception of July.  The May and June meetings are normally visits to places of historic interest in the County of Leicestershire whilst the other 9 meetings are held at the United Reformed Church Boys' Brigade Rooms, Long Street, Wigston at 7.30 pm  on 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Why not come along and see what we do? Visitors are always welcome. Contact one of the committee who will look after you during your visit.
