HISTORICAL SOCIETY
 
The Heritage Centre contains books, documents, maps, memorabilia, audio recordings, scrap books, newspapers, CDs & DVDs,  and a computerised and indexed archive of over 15,000 photographs of Wigston and surrounding areas.

The Centre also has computers with internet access and a wealth of records for genealogical research for Wigston, as well as further afield.
 
The Centre is open for free viewing of archive material by Society Members and the General Public on Friday each week from 10.00am until 2.00pm, and the 2nd. Saturday of the month. When the Centre is open, there are volunteers on-site with an interest in Wigston History and Family History.
